~ It’s not too late to Paint for the Holidays ~

That’s right! It’s the middle of September! Let’s get those paint jobs done! The weather is perfect for outdoor painting usually thru October and often well into November be pending on where in the country you live. You’ll want to watch that the overnight temperature doesn’t drop too low. Most paints require a temperature to drop no lower than 50°F.

This house is painted with beautiful Christmas colors from Old Village Paint. New England Red, Wild Bayberry, and colonial White. Fun fact, Santa in the old days was often dressed in green and various other colors. But when Coca-Cola came along, they started dressing Santa in red, and it took off to this day.

I have always love seeing candles in the windows of houses. Did you know that in the old days candles in the windows meant that travelers were welcome?
